Toys for Tots
As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps on November 10, we pause to honor a legacy defined by unwavering dedication, selfless commitment, and extraordinary valor. For two and a half centuries, Marines have stood as guardians of freedom, proudly serving our nation with honor, courage, and an unshakable sense of duty. That same spirit of service extends far beyond the battlefield - into the heart of our communities through programs like Marine Toys for Tots.

Campaign Start Date: October 1, 2025
Campaign End Date: December 8, 2025
APPLICATION DATES
Application dates depend on what non-profit you make your application.
Please keep in mind the following important information when you register with these and other organization that receive toys from the McHenry County Marine Toys for Tots Program:
1. Toys donated by Toys for Tots will NOT be auctioned, sold, or otherwise returned to stores for monetary compensation.
2. Toys donated by Toys for Tots will NOT be taken out of state for distribution.
3. Do NOT register for toys at multiple organizations. Doing so, you risk the possibility of receiving no toys.

Kids in Need (KIN) Secret Santa - Registration open through December 3, at 6 pm. at https://KINMC.org/SecretSanta
Secret Santa covers all of McHenry County.
Woodstock Rotary Club/Christmas Clearing House - Christmas Clearing House is sponsored by the Woodstock Rotary Club. They work with Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 and area social service agencies to identify families. The mission of our campaign is to collect new, unwrapped toy each year to distribute to less fortunate children in our community.
Every child deserves a little Christmas.

WHAT WE DO
Our mission is to collect new unwrapped toys and monetary donations (in order to purchase new toys) to distribute them to McHenry County children in need through the help of local non-profit organizations/agencies. The success of our campaign depends on the generosity of our community. Your support helps to create a little bit of joy for the local children in need.
There are three ways you can help to make this 2025 Toys For Tots season a success.
1. You can donate toys at a drop site.
2. You can make a monetary donation.
3. You can host a toy drive or event.

HOWEVER, MONETARY DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED 365 DAYS A YEAR.
Donate a Toy
If you have a new and unwrapped toy that you would like to donate, click: Toy Drop Off Sites for a list of convenient public locations. Drop off a toy in the collection box and our volunteers will collect it!
Please note that we are always in need of toys for boys and girls ages 0-2 and 10-12.
We encourage you to purchase mainly for those age groups as much as possible
Attend an Event
Many local businesses and organizations are willing to host public events. To select and attend one or several click Local and National Events. You will be able to drop off a new and unwrapped toy (or make a donation) while having fun.
Make a Donation
If you cannot get out to a drop-off location or an event, you can still help by making a monetary donation to McHenry County Toys for Tots program. Just simply click Donate Online and it will take you through the necessary steps. Best of all, the donation stay in McHenry County!
Become a Toy Drop-off site
For the 2025, McHenry County Marine Toys for Tots (TFT) Campaign, we WILL NOT be taking on any new Toys for Tots collection locations. Why you ask? Last year we had overwhelming support with our existing McHenry County box locations. The people of McHenry County have been extremely generous and we collected more than enough toys to meet the needs of McHenry County children.
Although the Marine TFT program allows local areas like ours to carry over a small quantity of toys for the next year, the TFT Foundation prefers that we distribute the toys in the year they are received. I know many businesses and organizations would love to help TFT; however, since we are fulfilling the need for toys with the locations we have, it would only create a toy storage dilemma and disregard the guidance from the TFT Foundation. Should existing businesses and organizations decide to no longer be a TFT collection site, we will entertain adding on other locations pending their location.
Host an Event
Does your business or organization want to host a private or public event? If interested, you must qualify by registering in advance. Please contact the Coordinator via e-mail or telehone to discuss your ideas for an event (See Contacts). The last day to register will be November 21, 2025. NOTE, if it is an event that will raise only toys, it must take place before December 8, 2025. After that date, it must be a fundraiser since we will already be distributing toys to the non-profits who take the toys to the children in need. For more details, contact the Coordinator.

The McHenry County Marine Toys for Tots team is already full for the 2025 campaign.
Need Assistance?
501c3 non-profit agencies that want to request toys for the children on your rosters, should click Agency and Non Profit Request Form for details and mandatory registration. Most REGISTRATION will open October 1st and close November 30th; however, some close earlier. Please look at the page or the Non Profit organizations for specific dates.
